This camp is new to our last South Luangwa visit. Reports are excellent. Andy Hogg, the owner, has got pretty imaginative taste, so this camp has been a hit.
Kapamba Bush Camp in South Luangwa National Park offers superb game viewing opportunities. A half-moon deck is the focal point of the camp and serves as the dining and bar area offering an ideal viewing point for wildlife that comes to drink at the river. The camp's location is a truly wonderful place to visit thanks to its close proximity to a watering hole that attracts wildlife in this dry area.
Each of the four chalets has an open-fronted style ensuring you can enjoy uninterrupted game viewing from the privacy of your own room. The en-suite bathrooms each have a double-sized sunken stone bath and spacious shower. Solar paneled lighting, paraffin lanterns and hot and cold running water. Their natural wood and thatch construction is complemented beautifully by their colorful decor. African-inspired pieces are found throughout to help create a welcoming and lively atmosphere where guests can relax between thrilling game drives through the national park's wilderness.
Activities include guided morning and afternoon walks and vehicle-based game drives both during the day and night, when fascinating nocturnal creatures are active. The diverse wildlife in the area ensures that guests will have a memorable experience exploring here.
