Mashatu Euphorbia Villas, set on the private 72,000 acre Mashatu reserve is host to some of the finest predator and elephant viewing on the continent. The reserve lies in the eastern extremity of Botswana where the great Limpopo and Shashe Rivers converge. This exceptionally diverse landscape includes wide open plains, grassland, riverine forests, rocky hills, marshland and majestic sandstone ridges. Predators and elephant sightings are complimented by some lesser well-known species such as the aardwolf, bat-eared fox, African wildcat, honey badge, spotted hyena, black backed jackal and over 350 bird species.
Mashatu Euphorbia Villas with eight “green” villas, combines luxury with conservation and sustainability. The villas boast solar-heating, private plunge pools, indoor and outdoor showers, a primary WC and second ‘loo with a view,’ all while giving guests that feeling of the ultimate retreat. Savor the essence of exclusivity, with only 4 guests per safari vehicle, as one explores the Land of the Giants, returning to camp at the end of the day to enjoy a drink around the fire or in the “nest” on the cliff edge.
