Incredible wildlife viewing on a private conservancy for a stellar price. T his is a great combination - a rustic but comfortable, small bush camp in the Olare Orok Conservancy just NE of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Kicheche Bush Camp is located in the Masai Mara within the Olare Orok Conservancy bordering the National Reserve. The Olare Orok Conservancy, through its strict limit on bed numbers, offers an incomparable wildlife viewing experience without crowds. The secluded camp is located in a prime wildlife area and viewing starts right from the camp itself. The location is also ideal to experience the iconic wildebeest migration where thousands of thundering hooves pass through.
Six spacious, fully insect-proof custom designed tents, are equipped with twin or double beds, crisp linens, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and a traditional safari bucket shower with a view. There are comfortable chairs on each veranda overlooking the plains. The ambiance is reminiscent of a bygone era of safari elegance where exploration amid luxury was the pinnacle of adventure travel. There is a spacious and well furnished lounge and dining tent, although often you will dine al fresco amid the magical sights and sounds of the African bush if weather permits.
The cooks produce a variety of African and international dishes and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Fresh produce is flown in regularly and bread and pastries are baked daily. The small intimate camp lends itself to communal dining with your hosts, although private dining can be arranged for a romantic or special occasion.
