Primate Lodge

Primate Lodge is a fashionable Eco-lodge located within Kibale National Park. The lodge is surrounded by a flourishing tropical forest that is home to many different species of primates. Next door to the lodge is the starting point for Chimpanzee Tracking as well as the incredible Chimpanzee Habituation Experience - two of the most breath-taking wildlife experiences on the planet.

This intimate lodge has 9 Luxury Cottages, 7 Standard Cottages and an adventurous Sky Tree House. The lodge is constructed with local materials and makes use of solar powered electricity in order to minimize the impact on the environment. Moreover, the accommodation contributes to the livelihood of the surrounding communities by involving the local families in different service areas, ranging from employment and the supply of locally grown products to providing handmade crafts and cultural performances.

While at the lodge you can participate in a variety of activities, such as chimp tracking, a forest walk, bird watching, Bigodi village walk discovery of the crater Lakes, cultural heritage, hike at the slopes of Rwenzori along with the Nature trail.
