This lovely little property on the outskirts of Windhoek is a great affordable option. It's a perfect for self-drivers with plenty of parking! The staff will make you feel at home right away.
Set high on a hill in northern Windhoek is the lovely Galton House, named after the British explorer Sir Francis Galton who traveled extensively in central and northern in Namibia from 1850 to 1852.
Galton House is on the edge of Windhoek so is ideally situated to promote a tranquil environment. Each of the nine room is individually decorated. Impressive wildlife photography adorns the walls. Every room has internet connection, air conditioning and satellite television. The in house restaurant serves tasty, freshly prepared meals in the 'al fresco' dining area. The communal areas consist of a large lounge, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a refreshing swimming pool.
The owners of Galton House have many years with hospitality experience and this shines through in the exceptional attention to detail and service offered throughout the guest house. This extends to facilities for early arrivals and late departures with a complete bathroom and lounge available to those who require them.
While situated away from the main business district in a quite suburban setting, the city center is only a 10 minute drive away and there are shops and restaurants within easy reach.
