Azura is one of the newest additions to the Bazaruto Archipelago. We have yet to get here, but our clients who have stayed here have all raved about the experience. Located on Benguerra Island within the Bazaruto Marine National Park, Azura Benguerra is the countrys first luxury eco-boutique retreat. Built and operated in partnership with the local community, it has just 14 villas, each with their own infinity pool and designed for the ultimate in pampering and privacy. The villas blend modern chic with all that is traditional in Mozambique. The creature comforts you would expect from a luxury boutique resort are there, set off by beautifully carved beams and traditional artwork beneath a local thatched jekka roof. Each is just footsteps from the beach, yet designed with seclusion in mind.
Wander down to the pristine white beach and welcoming azure aea beyond. Or lounge around on plump cushions and have your butler serve you tea.
