Lamai Serengeti stands proud above the plains, around a tumble of giant boulders. You can see from this outcrop, the Kogakuria Kopje, for miles and miles. Over a million wildebeest cross these plains on their way to dodge the jaws of death in the Mara River, just down the track.  On the Lamai Wedge, bristling with mammals all year round, there’s never a dull moment. .

At Lamai Serengeti they have just 12 rooms, split between two lodges, Lamai and exclusive use Lamai Private.

The River Camp was initially established as Richard and Liz’s ‘home away from home’ in 2006 when their son Willoughby was born. Perfectly situated on the banks of the Njageteck River and surrounded by 70 acres of private land in the Mara North Conservancy, the camp allows for total privacy and exclusivity. The Ngoyanai springs provide permanent water, drawing in large numbers of animals to the area around camp.
